Wills
What is a Will?
A will is a document instructing your wishes on how to distribute your property and assets after your death.
There are three types of wills:
A simple will usually refers to a will prepared for a family that has a small estate who are not concerned about tax planning after death.
A living will refers to a document that sets out your wishes about medical treatment that you do or do not want to receive in case you become incapacitated. This can also be called an Advanced Directive.
A DPOA is a document established by an individual granting another person the right and authority to handle matters relating to health care or other matters for the individual.
