Autobiography

Tom was born and raised in the small town of Plattsburg, Missouri, about 30 miles north of Kansas City. His father, Paul T. Luckenbill, was the first medical doctor to establish a practice in Clinton County, Missouri, making house calls and delivering about 50 babies a year for many years. It was from Dr. Luckenbill’s example that Tom learned several life lessons, including the value of hard work, a strong work ethic, and a deep desire to be an independent business owner.

During his senior year of high school, Tom met Ingrid, a lovely foreign exchange student from Belgium. They started dating their senior year in high school and stayed in touch with one another after high school. Two and a half years later they were married, and have now celebrated twenty-seven years of marriage. They have two daughters, Alicia and Emily.
